(%] [deleted] - 6y ago » Edited 6y ago Hi, I'm a non-op trans woman in a lesbian relationship with a pre-op trans woman and | honestly feel the same way in a lot of lesbian online spaces. Little things like complaining about "dicks everywhere" bc they understandably have bad run-ins with cis men, things like “I don't like DICK oki?!2!" in referring to not liking cis men, and yeah, the vagina-centrism. | also hate the constant mentioning of "genital preferences” or whatever and having that thrown in my face constantly, often by cis women. When | speak up about things like these I'm often left to defend myself on my own, talked down to and talked over. Being cis and having a vagina is the accepted default, and trans women with penises are aberrations, not worth paying attention to, and if they complain they need to be corrected. It feels very invalidating, bc we're not any less lesbian bc of our god damn genitals of all things, and even if most of it isn't meant as oppressive, we can easily see the underlying implications.
