Posted by u/dodell616 P DonnaRae/61/ HRT 05.24.18 3 months ago Cycling progesterone to mimic a cis female's menstrual cycle Ihave read all of the posts on cycling progesterone, and I understand this concept, but during a cis female's 28 day cycle, women have two estrogen level peaks. One at about 10 days, and a smaller one at about 22 days which is when the progesterone levels peak. In my case, how can I even come close to mimicking that cycle when I have estradiol level peaks every 3.5 days? That is eight peaks every month. Is that why progesterone is taken daily? Would it not be closer to mimicking a cis female's menstrual cycle if progesterone was taken every 3.5 days when we achieve our peak levels? Or even taking it every other injection to mimic a cis female's second rise in estrogen levels? That would be four times a month.
