Your post has been removed. While no one has a right to touch your body ever, your title and description of your MIL
is not relevant to your question, and will be considered by a lot of people to be transphobic. You are welcome to try.
and repost, but please keep in mind when you're writing that, while your MIL being transgender/lesbian is a relevant
detail due to the accusations of homophobia, making it the main focus of your title and post is not going to ingratiate
you to readers.

I checked your repost but I'm responding here to keep it tidy: would recommend removing your entire second
paragraph where you describe your MIL. It doesn't really add to the story so having that description of her (even
though you insist that it's fine and you support her in spite of not understanding some of her choices) isn't going to.
invite anything positive into your post. I think it's probably fine other than that; I'l run it by the group and let you
Know otherwise.

Removing that removes the context of why she called me homophobic. I haven't had any negative comments, so I
guess Tam a little confused about what wrong with stating the history. She is trans. I am fine with that, but she is
using it against me.

1 apologize for being unclear on that--you can say she's trans, of course, because that's the entire reason you're
being accused of homophobia. The description of her as a trans woman is unnecessary. So far, thankfully, the angry
comments have been directed towards modmail instead of to you directly. My suggestion for your second paragraph:
Basically, I knew my MIL as my FIL until two years ago, when she announced she was a woman and that she
would be transitioning. We all supported her, of course. She's also a lesbian. If none of this seems relevant so far,
stick around for the end.
All of those details about her transition that you don't understand? They're not really relevant to your question and
will not bring you anything but unpleasantness if I let you leave your post up with that in there. The first angry
reports came in within 2 minutes of your original post.
