should include males (who ID as women) in their dating pools? That's outright

homophobic. Do you think it's morally acceptable for females to be homosexual? Do

you think they deserve a name for themselves?
Well lesbians are women who romantically involve themselves with women... And if a trans
woman is a woman... Then a lesbian is stil a lesbian if they date a trans woman. That is not to
say, however, that they have to date transwomen! No one has to date anyone, or include anyone in
their dating pool. If a lesbian just wants to date cis women, then she isn't bound by some law that
she must date a trans woman. It is her choice. But to say that this thinking is homophobic is
baffling to me. That part makes little to no sense.
Transwomen = Women
Lesbian = Woman who Loves Women
Therefore, a woman who loves a transowman is still a lesbian.
A woman who loves a cis woman is still a lesbian!
That also is not to say that lesbians who refuse to date trans people purely on the grounds of
being trans (111) are not inherently transphobic. But if that is who you are then that is who you are.
There are close minded lesbians everywhere! You can make up your dating pool purely of them 3)
In the end, lesbians should be fighting for love in the LGBT community. Love is not something you
get to control, whether it's in your life or anyone else's. Love who you're going to love, and quit
worrying about their genitals.
