So | was telling my brother about the issue of cis Lesbians dating
trans women and stuff.

Just starting he stopped me and asked: “Does this have to do with
‘TERFs?" and holy shit, he hit the key!

Like, I've never thought about it, but that's actually why the issue of
cis people dating trans people is such a problem in the Lesbian
community but not so much with gay men and straight people;
because while transphobia exists everywhere no other community
has such a virulent streak as TERF.

I mean, | know many straight men actively seek trans women for the
fetish (this isn't positive trans women are still dehumanized in this
context), and I'm not too familiar with gay men, but | know that while
the discussion of gay trans men exist is not as aggressive as with
lesbians.
