The child in this story is 12 and to everyone who isn't close to that age you'll think that
that is basically a 7 year old that still plays with toy, but t those who are they'll know that
that age these days is somewhat mature
I have to live with (and I have lived here for 2 months now) this child until I turn 18. After
the first few weeks of when I got here he asked me my gender (I'm ftm but I don't pass
well because I have a baby face) i explained to him that I sas trans. He seemed okay with
it at first, but then a few hours later he came to interrupt a card game I was having with
another person I have to live with (il call her 3).
3 and I were playing a card game when the child came to sit down and then he just asked
a bunch of random question, but then he said something like "Let's go girls.” Yeah so at
that point I still tried to avoid thinking about my dysphoria that much so it won't bother me
as much (it worked for a while but not all the time)
So 1 just asked "excuse me, girls?" And then he said "yeah you're both girls, what else
would you be." Then 3 and I explained to him that I wasn't a girl. We tried to be kind and T
was only mildly annoyed, and that was it.
The child went on with his life for around a month, but then there was another thing that
happenend 2 weeks ago.
Random note but I have to live with 7 underage people there are adults here too.
So basically I was sitting with a few people watching them play card games, while I tried to
draw and while the child and one person who was an amazing person through out this
entire thing, I'll call him A.
So I was sitting opposite 3, who was sitting next to a guy who I'll just call 6, 7 who is 6's
best friend was sitting next to me and opposite 6.
So they all of us sitting at the table were making jokes, well I was until 6 said to me "be
quiet young lady.” I laughed it off hoping that that would be it and I said "well I'm not a
girl so that means I don't have to shut up.” Then 7 turned to me (I had also explained to
him I was trans, and he was the first person to genuinely think I was a guy) and he asked
"So are you a boy physically or mentally?" I think he just forgot or he just didn't care. But
When 7 asked that... the child fucking turned to ook at me and he said "but you can't be a
boy." A heard this and he already knew I was trans and he understood (at least somewhat)
and he said "Shenaniganking has the right to be a guy if that's what he wants." Then the
child said again "but that's not possible she's a girl." He said something else along those
lines while A 3 and I tried to explain to him and after a while I started to talk over him and
1 just said "Shut up I don't care you are wrong I'm a boy. Shut up shut up shut up.” T
started to raise my voice a litlle but not enough to be yelling. After that the child stayed
quiet and I also got quiet and I tried to focus on my drawing but I couldn't because I was
trying not to cry. After 2 minutes I left to go to my room and I broke down because
dysphoria had started to be a bigger bitch than usual and I had had a bad few days
anyway. I cried for around 30 minutes until A had come to ask me if I wanted to drink tea
with him. He saw me crying and then he tried to help me and he tried to tell me that I look
manly but boi I have eyes I know it's a lie. In the end the child kept calling me a girl
multiple times and a few days ago 7 and 6 also called me a girl. Yeah so my dysphoria has
doubled after that and IT now feel even worse. Sad thing is I have to live with this situation
for many more years.
EDIT: a lot of people had explajned to the child about it for months and he understood it
after the first 3 talks. There is a clear difference between honestly not knowing, and saying
it on purpose to try to hurt my feelings, and it was clear what he meant. And after this
thing happenned the next 3 days he kept doing it cause I was bring rude and I was
ignoring him after this.
