"TwoXChromosomes" - what's the deal?
Tcan't be the first person to query this - how is Reddit's main woman-focused community
(over 12 million subscribers!) named something as glaringly out of touch as "XX
Chromosomes'7?
Of all the things they could have used, they really had to go with this anti-trans trope? If
they don't care about excluding a bunch of women (trans & intersex) from their definition,
then why not other similarly as arbitrary names like "r/shoulderlengthblondehair” or
“r/5ft5t08"?
It almost really feels a bit too on the nose to be accidental - the chromosomes pseudo-
argument is literally the first thing TERFs & friends come out with when trying to
decimate transgenderism with le science Ben Shapiro style... yet that's how Reddit
chooses to define women?
Tell me theres something I'm missing here. It just doesn't rest easy with me whatsoever.
