+ Thad several cases of male to female (gynecologist here). Tl be honest with you - it's not good. I actually don't advise for
these surgeries because the rate of complication is so high, which probably explains why the rate of suicide for post op is
nearly untouched - Just a thought. Anyway, a patient comes in, MtF had their surgery about a month ago. Says, "there's
something night right down there”. AS the patient was taking off underwear I noticed the self made bandages and
padding, layer being taken off, until the room is hit with one of the most nasty putrid smells I can remember. We
gagged, that's how bad it was. It basically looked like an unhealed wound that had gotten infected - for a long time mind
you. There was pus, crusts of stuff looking like impetigo, chunks of skin that would fall out when further examined
mottled with hair. T could with my finger touch a pelvic arch through the opening, that's to give you an idea of the extent
of ulceration. The pain was pretty bad and we had to administer lidocain several times.

The patient said she did, "everything right”, from dilators to hygiene. I'm not going to judge but I think that wasn't the
case. Who knows? We cleaned her(xir?) up as best we can and tried to keep the cavity open. It's hard to heal the body
when everything you do promotes healing yet you're trying to keep a wound open.
My advice to you - really think this through. Our patient regretted the surgery so much she took her own life a couple
weeks after the consultation.
Edit - downvoting makes the story untrue guys. Wouldn't you want to know the extent of this?
Edit 2- you know, you guys are right. Let's forget all the complications and post op psychology - that way theyll
magically disappear right? Let's keep pushing this new trend for people to get elective surgeries to cut off their dicks.
Good luck on your surgeries.
